El Paso, TX Climate
El Paso, Texas, a southern city in the United States, has extreme weather changes. Temperatures reach a high of 100+ degrees Fahrenheit (F) or 38 degrees Celsius (C) in the summer and a low of 15 degrees F or -10 degrees C in the winter with an average high temperature of 76 degrees F or 25 degree C and an average low temperature of 50 degrees F or 10 degrees C.
Cultural Differences
The United States (U.S.) culture is different from many nations in the world as it places most achievements and responsibilities on individuals, not groups. The U.S. is largely Christian. Upon arrival, your sponsor will be able to tell you where the nearest house of worship for your religion is located.
Arrival / Departure
The Servicing airport is the El Paso International Airport, El Paso, Texas. Airport Code: ELP. If you arrive by automobile, you need to report to the International Military Student Office (IMSO). If you arrive by air, an IMSO representative or sponsor will meet you at the airport. Please see the blog for additional information.
